branching off the joshua tree

Bono is in the news quite a bit again these days. Not only did U2 take home many Grammy awards (a buddy of mine was there, the stinker), but here are two more things to chew on:
  • A CNN clip of Bono's homily (yes, that's what he called it) at the Nation's Prayer Breakfast. Consider the old post I had on Bono and see if you can tell where he's at spiritually.

  • Willow Creek's Leadership Summit recently announced Bono as one of the keynote speakers.

This guy is passionate about the humanitarian efforts he's involved in. That's awesome, and I'm glad he's doing well.

Me?

I still haven't found what I'm looking for.

Yup... too bad his segment isn't live. I had dreams of a spontaneous song in the middle of his talk.

It will be neat to see what he has to say....and if he is able to move from selling his issues (which are important) to churches and just be open and vulnerable and thoughtful and human instead of just a star with a cause

I just watched the whole speech and I think he did a fantastic job!
