(record)

I know that many of you just visit and don't post.

Yes... I have a secret counter that tells me so. :)

That's cool, but how about one pop in?

So - please tell me a little about yourself (including all you regulars):

  • Who are you?

  • Where do you come from?

  • What do you want to do with your life?
I wanna rock.

I come from Odessa Texas. But, I live near Dallas.
I deliberately play by ear. My life is far too complicated to muck it up with too many plans.
I too once listened to Twisted Sister.

Hey there, I admit it, I never post, but I love your blog! It is almost too creative for me to handle at times, it's great.

I am from the Detroit area and have been meaning to email you for lunch when I have been up to the GR area.

I have been a youth pastor for 10 years and in June 05 started a non profit called Project311. www.project311.com.

Maybe we can connect sometime.

My name is Chris Marsden. I am a youth minister just outside of Orlando, FL. I am from all over Florida, but originally the Tampa Bay Area.

I have ideas of what I might want to do with my life, but lately God has been keeping me too busy for me to get my input in, so I am working camp, writing some, a little web design, not speaking as much as I would like, not playing in a band anymore, working with the Florida Christian Youth Convention, and whatever else God sends my way.

I'm John Alan Turner.

I live just outside of Atlanta, GA.

I write books and curriculum. I help people live better lives by re-examining what they really believe, and I've partnered with my wife to raise three adults-in-training. We're hoping to live long enough for them to launch out into the world. Then we can have the house to ourselves again.

I do not care to rock so much as I used to. I'd rather roll for a while.

Well now, I didn't really think you would have a blog. This is AWESOME.

Great service this morning. My husband and I saw you at GCC. You are really breathing new life into that church.

Here are my answers:

I am a conservative christian Lady, although I am conservative, I am aggressive about what I believe - ya know not afraid to voice my opinions.

I was born and raised in california, however I have lived in michigan for the last 7 years. You might remember as one of the people in the second service who moved 28 times.

I want to shake the earth with the great news about Jesus. Although, I am not sure how to do it yet.

I look forward to many more post from you and hopefully you don't mind if I link you.

OH and one more thing. I think you do ROCK!

I am Casey; follower of Christ, wife, daughter, friend, singer, worshiper, writer, dog lover, shy, ambitious, organized, creative, fun loving.

I was born in OKC, Oklahoma; went to grammer school in Bedford, Texas; High School in San Diego, California; and currently reside in Burlington, Vermont.

What do I want to do with my life? I suppose I should know the answer to this question by now since I ask myself this at least once a day. But the honest answer is I have no clue. Well, I do want to be a mommy, but that will come in God's time. Other than that, the only thing I know for sure is I want to be pleasing in God's sight. I want my desires to be in line with His. That's hard to do cause I am a selfish human being, but it's all about surrendering every day, right?

I'm Steve. Hey, howzit goin'? I teach high school math and preach every few weeks for the church I grew up with. They say a prophet isn't welcome in his home town; I'm workin' on that.

I come from Fresno, California. Still there.

I want to teach. I want to show kids how to grow up. I want to excite people to learn more about Jesus and grow closer to our Creator.

I rock as often as possible. And so do you.

My name is Cindy. I came to Belding Nov. 8th. I was living in California with my husband and youngest son, both of whom have drug addictions.

We attend GCC and LOVE IT.

My husband is currently in rehab and by the grace of the Lord getting his life turned around in the right direction.

I love Michigan and my prayer is to move here permantely, to be closer to my daughter, her husband and my oldest son. Not to mention the fact I really did not like living in southern California.

I want to be as David said, a woman after God's own heart. (Ok, David said he wanted to be a man after God's own heart, but since I am a woman, well you get the point!) To help show the way to those who are lost and struggling. I love to write and figure blogging is a good way to share struggles and show hope to others.

I absolutely love your blog, i remember writing that a few times before ;)
I'm Simone, click on my link and you'll find out what I want to do with my life!

Obeying and Glorifying God through worship, who I am and what I do, which at the moment is simply being a wife and staying at home mum.

Oh, I am Dutch but feel more english, am living in the UK.

When all else fails, just blatantly beg for comments ;)

Just kidding, Tony. Definitely an good way to get to know your readers. Makes me curious, though, about your "secret counter" claims and about all the people who WON'T respond to your simple request.

Anyway: you asked, I'll answer. I'm Amy, and I'll leave it at that. I come from Ohio, but now live in Tennessee. I come from depravity, from which I traveled through grace into legalism, and am now living (or trying to live) in just plain grace.

I want to live in humility with the gospel at the center of who I am. I want some other things, too, but again, I'll keep it simple.

Hopefully you'll get some regulars from my way. I posted about you a week or so ago as one of my newer favorite bloggers. Thanks for making me think.

I get to work with at risk youth in the role of teaching them work ethic at New Horizons Academy. My wife and I love our times at Missinabi Woods Academy in Northern Ontarion during the summer session. I am in charge of logging operation, cabin building, maintanance, and transportation (I'm still looking for a sawmill operator for this summer [NHYM.com]) Another words I get to love on kids, use a chainsaw, build cabins, drive a boat on a beautiful lake and call it "work."

I am indebted to Tony for his PATIENCE with me when he was my youth pastor (Big House Rules!) Thank you for sharing. It's good to read the challenges and to continue to be challenged by what the Lord has continually laid on your heart, even though we no longer get to share face-to-face.

Genesis 32:27-28

27 The man asked him, "What is your name?"
"Jacob," he answered.

28 Then the man said, "Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, [e] because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome."

Jacob knew who he had been. He knew he was supposed to cross the river.

That's me. I'm wrestling with God. Knowing where I've been, that i need to cross the river, that God has/will bless me. Jacob became Israel... who will I become?
