Holiness reveals who God already sees us as and the potential of what we're able to do, not who we've been and what we've been unable to do.
Both grace and holiness are needed; neither trumps the other.
Jesus offers both in one sacrifice, and we uniquely receive both in one decision to integrate Him as Savior and Lord... because, again, both are needed.
