I have learned yet again how blessed I am to have my wife in my life. Last night I had to run to a meeting for our church and get approval by a local township for us to take up residence in their neck of the woods. This required a babysitter, which means normally my wife would have been there. Then after I put my son to bed I had to squeeze in a late night of work and still be cognitive enough to hear him when he woke up.
Today, though, I got smart and combined work errands with daddy/son investment.

During lunch we sat near a small coin-op circle thing.
I didn't plan it this way, but every time a kid got on
and their parents paid for it they invited
my son to hop on for free.

I think this sunglasses pic is my favorite of the day.
I had four dollars in cash on me. Here is $2 for a pretzel.
And $1 for a merry-go-round ride.
And $1 for four minutes on some bouncy stuff.
We happened to be in the neighborhood of a new Chic-Fil-A.
So we chowed down on some delicious chicken.
Meanwhile...
My oldest son was in Seattle drinking a smoothie.
(He is my son, you know)
He's been enjoying some good time with his buds.
And apparently we'll have to have a little talk
about loyalty to the Chicago Bears when
he does come home.

It bothers me a great deal that my son is coming of age during the era of the Red Sox. The brainwashing towards the Angels must take place on a regular basis.
Ah... you mean the Cubs, White Sox, Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks.
Don't sweat the seahawks thing. They go through stages. Eventually he will come around to being a Cowboys fan!
