There is an incredible sermon series from Andy Stanley (www.northpoint.org) called Taking Care of Business that my small group is going through now. It's all about work and honoring God in whatever we do..."And whatever you do, work as though you are working for God and not men."
One of my favorite verses... not to mention a good church, too.
djg - nah, it's not bad to have something that brings home a paycheck. But perhaps there can be a deeper level to that job than just money... maybe it's about being God's representative in that field.

The big plus is when your profession (what you were put on earth to do) ALSO brings home the paycheck!
