Him: Dad?
Me: Yeah?
Him: What do you think about me fighting in the army someday?
Me: Well... I know a lot of people who have done that. The Army helps our country stay safe.
Him: Yeah, I'm thinking about fighting in it.
Me: There certainly are times when we need to fight to protect something, but I'm not a big fan of fighting to just fight. I hope if you do join the Army someday that you do it to protect others and not to just fight.
Him: Yeah. Well, either that, or I'm thinking about working at Amazone.
Me: The laser tag place?
Him: Yeah.
Me: That's a good choice, too.
