500

Blogger lets you know how many times you've put something out there... apparently I just reached 500 posts.

I honestly don't know that I've even kept track, because it's never been about the numbers for me. I mean, it's nice when someone responds and I see a bunch if interactions on something that's spilled out of me. Then again, sometimes I think I write posts that are just for my own fleshing out of life, faith, God, church, and the occasional times that they all collide in opposite directions (if that's even possible).

Either way, though, I'm thankful for everyone who reads this blog... from the posters to the lurkers (yes, I still see you). I have this little script on my blog that tells me how many visitors pop by, what countries they're from (now, THAT'S interesting!), and how they happen to surf in.

I stopped looking at that over a year ago.

Whether you read this in the suburbs or the country, the city or the surf, the U.S. or the U.K. or while listening to U2...

thanks for reading.

I'm calling today my "Smoothie Anniversary."

If you get a chance, celebrate with me by stopping by your local Smoothie King (or comparable place that makes smoothies well) and toast the world of blogging.

While you're at it, join me in walking through some of my favorite posts (listed in the right collumn). I'll see you there.

In the absence of a good smoothie....how about a milkshake...or a Blizzard?

I don't want to celebrate inappropriately...

Well... I can't technically approve that since the celebration has already been set into motion.

Here's a back-up plan.

But since I believe in grace, you go ahead and follow the Lord's leading on this one.
