Oh man... "THE YEAR 2000" segment features The Edge and Bono. Here's a snippet:

- The Edge: "U2 will reveal that we wrote the song 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For' after we went to four supermarkets looking for Boo Berry Cereal."

wish i could have gotten off work to stand in line. i guess Bono hung out with those in queue for a while in the afternoon. dang work.
Rats! I wish I would have seen that! That is a great "The Year 2000" bit. Can you remember more?
I think one of the ones at the end was:
The Edge: "The Edge will reveal that the reason he wears knitted caps is to take the focus away from Bono's crappy sunglasses."
and then Bono comes out...
Bono: "The Edge will reveal that the reason he wear's knitted caps is to hide his tattoo that reads 'I-heart-__________" (can't remember the punchline)
NBC runs reruns of this week's Leno and Conan in the wee hours of the morning (like 3am). Check your listings... but it's exactly a week later, so figure on looking for the time slot in one week.
The punchline was Urkle, as in "Family Matter's" Steve Urkle.
By the way, I think Late Night with Conan O'Brien is one of the best and funniest shows on TV. Just thought I'd say that.
Me, too! I dig the Chuck Norris lever that he uses to prompt odd clips from "Walker: Texas Ranger"
That, and the "Arnold" mouth that constantly promotes "Jingle-all-da-vey"
