What I skimmed in the quote section from a Sojourner's email...
"A true revolution of values will soon cause us to question the fairness and justice of many of our past and present policies. On the one hand, we are called to play the Good Samaritan on life's roadside, but that will be only an initial act. One day we must come to see that the whole Jericho Road must be transformed so that men and women will not be constantly beaten and robbed as they make their journey on life's highway. True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar. It comes to see that an edifice which produces beggars needs restructuring. A true revolution of values will soon look uneasily on the glaring contrast of poverty and wealth." - Martin Luther King Jr.
What I overheard two women chatting about...
"I'm reading this new book by Rob Bell. He's talking about the teaching situation from the Old Testament... things a child would know - all these Scripture verses... you know, the um... Torah, and all. How they would memorize it by the age of 10? This book... I could not put it down. I was reading it on the toilet. It's a great read. "
(apparently)
What I came across by accident...
"The Americans spent thirty years designing and perfecting a pen that works in space. Russian astronauts use pencils."
(okay... that's just hilarious)
What I read from a friend's blog...
"If you have something that you believe in, then it is worth saying boldly."
- from a group of Muslims who were commenting on how Christians tend to have weak backbones when it comes to their beliefs.

I love pencils (K.I.S.S.) and people who stand up for (in both word and deed) what they believe. Practice Praxis.

Actually it does say something. We are to love the Muslims, learn from them.
