advertising well spent?

The ad for Martha Stewarts Apprentice on NBC begins with "Lost is a repeat this week..." Okay, when the only reason to watch a show is because a better one is a repeat, you know your show is struggling.

Which makes me wonder... are you reading this blog because Lost is a repeat this week?

Ok I'll admit it but only because you caught me and now I feel guilty. I am only reading this post because Lost is a repeat. In fact the only reason I will be going grocery shopping today is because Lost is a repeat. I'll also try and clean my house, but again, only because Lost is a repeat. In fact, I may try and discern the Hebrew language in one night, but only because Lost is a repeat. Ok so climbing Mt. Everest may be an option too, but only because Lost is a repeat.

Think of all the things I can accomplish in ONE night because Lost is a repeat.

Wait, it's a repeat next week too you say? Ok, well I've been meaning to tackle that whole balanced budget thing for Congress so I'll be doing that next week.

Oh and by the way, thanks for stopping by my blog. You're funny, and don't worry I'll never call you Veronica, Kenny maybe - but then I will think of you as a country singer from the 80's who has a profinity for singing duets with Dolly Parton and then I might accidently call you Dolly, but NEVER Veronica.
