Oh well. I guess I will just have to stick with the Ipod.

Going back in time, I think the soundtrack to Dances With Wolves was great. Also the end of The Matrix as he flies away. Can't forget the Pirate's of the Carribean. Movies 1 and 2, 3 wasn't as good.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15733794.post-36354431665824929192008-02-22T18:53:00.000-05:002008-02-22T18:53:00.000-05:00What can I listen to any time? Some of you may laugh, but as I sat through bible & theology classes I could usually think of a Petra song that related. My opinion is that is why they lasted so long, they met people where they were with Biblical truth, not some nice social gospel answer with a good beat.

So now that I say those, I digress...when I was a teenager I really like movies that things blew up so I really like "Iron Eagle" and it's underscore...a teenager flying a F-16 around blowing things up in enemy territory with 80's rock blaring in the background. It's been so long since I've seen the movie I think it is more a fond memory than it may be an actual good movie.andyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06994806758829674085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15733794.post-1628575284206972322008-02-20T23:25:00.000-05:002008-02-20T23:25:00.000-05:00Well, my musical tastes probably don't fit in so g...Well, my musical tastes probably don't fit in so good here since I'm an old school rocker, but I agree with you completely. Music has had a powerful influence on my life since I saw The Beatles at age 4. Yes, I am that old.

I can't think of any specific movies, us old folks have memory issues.Bar L.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11100008292699584336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15733794.post-51828330569104195362008-02-19T16:20:00.000-05:002008-02-19T16:20:00.000-05:00In Bruce Almighty, when he starts dancing to "I've...In Bruce Almighty, when he starts dancing to "I've got the Power!"; nails the theme of the movie.

50 First Dates, the "Over the Rainbow / What a Wonderful World" medley; makes me cry every time.

The soundtrack for my own life would be David Crowder 'Remedy' for the mornings, Norah Jones for a relaxing evening.Katherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16568714290825946970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15733794.post-20968881067225208052008-02-19T13:26:00.000-05:002008-02-19T13:26:00.000-05:00Derek - one of my favs.Steve - nice Heroes referen...Derek - one of my favs.

Steve - nice Heroes reference.

Blaise - forgot about that one... wow - yeah.

Jennifer - Did you catch that Robbie Seay was used to promo American Idol this season? Some of MY favorites too (although I like the Danke Shein (sp?) song from Ferris just as much...how secure in your teenage masculinity do you have to be to lip synch to Rosemary Clooney in front of thousands of people?)

1. I'm listening to Lifehouse a LOT right now. I'm a little late getting on board the Lifehouse train. Also, the Indy trailer led me to (believe it or not) the soundtrack to Children of Dune. Just beautiful.

2. I'm a soundtrack junkie. A HUGE Williams fan and a great lover of Giachinno as well. I loved Jerry Goldsmith too. But as far as the ol' musical montage, not a lot of them stick out to me. The first one that springs to mind is the use of "Brothers in Arms" in the West Wing episode where Bartlett discloses his MS. I thought that was haunting and perfect.Thurman8erhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04956136117525355145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15733794.post-51841949897318815072008-02-19T08:01:00.000-05:002008-02-19T08:01:00.000-05:00I have always like the placement of Shania Twain's...I have always like the placement of Shania Twain's "No One Needs to Know" in the background of the movie Twister - while the soon-to-be ex-wife and new girlfriend are talking in the diner.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15733794.post-65057014559268566892008-02-19T00:39:00.000-05:002008-02-19T00:39:00.000-05:00man i totally am a fan of david crowder stuff but ...man i totally am a fan of david crowder stuff but you nailed it on the napolean dynamite deal that is such a cool montageAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
