Al Capone must have been a very spiritual man!"Derekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06521600838840002757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15733794.post-1164588643047241142006-11-26T19:50:00.000-05:002006-11-26T19:50:00.000-05:00I don't dress my best for church. I do it gladly,...I don't dress my best for church. I do it gladly, though I don't encourage people to have the same attitude I do about it. My reasoning for dressing the way I do for church may not be the same for others. If you wish to dress up or not is up to you. As long as it is appropriate, ie. are you showing too much skin. I dress in jeans in shirts because when I was younger I had to dress up for church. In fact, I had to go to church. I didn't have a choice in the matter. Now that I do have a choice, I choose to dress this way. Plus, I feel I personally am being disengenous to God when I am wearing a suit or dressy clothes. It isn't me. It is a side of me that I put forward for professional reasons to impress people. I want to be me before God.Out Of Jerseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07698802395603296603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15733794.post-1164572224598140092006-11-26T15:17:00.000-05:002006-11-26T15:17:00.000-05:00One small step for man at a time. One small step for man at a time.tonymyleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11396458619687708153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15733794.post-1164548967425940402006-11-26T08:49:00.000-05:002006-11-26T08:49:00.000-05:00I will become even more undignified than thisGood ...I will become even more undignified than this

Good point, Tony. I tend to think it not as big of a deal to God, if indeed our very lives are to be lives of worship, although if it is a way for someone to show greater honor for the Lord then I say...dress up!

I wrote recently on this Here.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
