Let's keep after the task of living a love for God out loud so that more gaps are filled and more Jessicas (or Veronicas) grow into the Kingdom.tonymyleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11396458619687708153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15733794.post-1132005803796978062005-11-14T17:03:00.000-05:002005-11-14T17:03:00.000-05:00Reminds me of 1 Corinthians 2:1-5..When I came to ...Reminds me of 1 Corinthians 2:1-5..

When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power..https://www.blogger.com/profile/11058123979919202353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15733794.post-1131995869761157122005-11-14T14:17:00.000-05:002005-11-14T14:17:00.000-05:00Right on my friend, way to be obedient to what God...Right on my friend, way to be obedient to what God called you to do. What a neat way share the gospel with people!

I think the last illustration is so true though: And I really think that is something that we as a church body need to evaluate: who among us are jumping that gap: or at least reaching across it - to help ease the lost closer to the cross? Who among us are willing to venture there? I know way too many Christians who fear going to the "dark side" to physically yank them out. Why? Why is it so scary? Are we afraid we'll become one of them? Did Jesus not stand with sinners and preach the Gospel right where they stood? Did He not literally go to them and pull them out of thier miry clay? Just something to think about...Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07645173133565192118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15733794.post-1131988633322266092005-11-14T12:17:00.000-05:002005-11-14T12:17:00.000-05:00Yep - I learned that at WCCC back in the day but I...Yep - I learned that at WCCC back in the day but I believed it originated with Campus Crusade for Christ. I think it can be very helpful, but it is so great to see that when those things are stripped away what you're communicating still has just as much substance. I rejoice with you in the lives that were changed today. I also love the way you described the "salvation of salvation." I am really asking God to help me live out that authentic journey with Him, being who I was created to be. Thanks again!Paulicushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02858469931891854053noreply@blogger.com
